In 1984 the chief executive, Carlo Nencioni decided to apply his experience in the sector of neurophysiology, manufacturing and supplying electrodes and accessories for electro medical instruments.
In 1989 to face the growing sectors needs, it was necessary to transform the first firm in a new company: BIONEN s.a.s., specialized in designing, manufacturing and supplying of neurological medical devices.
In the 1990s the growth and change of this market influenced BIONEN production and quality policy and in 1998 we obtained the certifications of the Quality Systems.
To improve our services and keep offering high quality standard products, since 2002 we moved in a new location with suitable facilities as well as a Cleanroom (ISO 8) for a controlled level of devices’ contamination.
Today the major Bionen’s customers are the public Italian hospitals, as well as private companies operating in domestic and foreign market. BIONEN also supplied accessories used in some NASA space missions.

The quality standard required for medical devices and the compliance to safety rules play a significant role in our mission, all our products are set very high, in order to obtain and maintain the Certification they are qualified for as the CE mark (Directive 93/42/CEE).
